We’re really excited to announce that The Summit is hosting a food drive to support a local food pantry! As the Church, we’re called to love our neighbors and an integral part of that is making sure their basic needs are met!
From now through December 21st, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products to help support any families in need in the surrounding community.
You can drop off donations on Sundays before and after service just to the left of the welcome desk in the provided bins.
Most-needed items to include: ◦ Canned beans, vegetables, fruits, and soups ◦ Peanut butter and jelly ◦ Pasta, rice, dry beans ◦ Cereal and oatmeal ◦ Canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.) ◦ Boxed meals and macaroni & cheese ◦ Shelf-stable milk, juice, and water ◦ Pantry snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks, protein bars, crackers, etc.) ◦ Baby items (formula, baby wipes, and diapers) ◦ Personal hygiene products (bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, and feminine products, etc.)
If you are unable to provide donations, that’s perfectly okay! We would really covet your prayers for the food drive and for the members of our community that this will bless!!
