Mamas & Munchkins Mission Statement
Mamas and Munchkins is a women’s daytime ministry that provides a supportive community for mothers to enjoy fellowship, be discipled in God’s word, and worship at the feet of Jesus. We support mothers in stewarding their relationship with God so they can walk boldly in the Spirit, love their family well, disciple their children, and be a light in their community.

Ministry
Mama’s meet twice a month, every other Friday, from 10am to noon in the sanctuary. We spend time in worship, bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
Mothers are encouraged to come as they are in every age and stage of motherhood to experience meaningful community and grow closer to Jesus.
In addition to our regular bible studies, Mamas & Munchkins hosts seasonal gatherings, park dates, mama’s night out, and volunteer opportunities.
Childcare
Childcare is currently offered for our ‘munchkins’ 2 years of age and older.
Babies and toddlers under the age 2 will stay with their mothers in the sanctuary where age-appropriate toys and accommodations are made available.
While women are encouraged to nurse and care for their babies in the sanctuary as needed, we also have a mother’s room located just off the foyer with comfy chairs, low lighting, and a changing table to meet your needs.

Meet Alyssa Protsman
Hello friend! My name is Alyssa and I lead our Mamas & Munchkins Ministry here at Harvest at the Summit.
I am passionate about helping other mamas live out the truth of God’s word and embody the power of the Gospel in her calling as a mother and wife. When I first gave my life to Christ and joined the church, I experienced so much love and support from other mothers and it made such a difference in my mental health and spiritual well-being. Hosting a daytime ministry where mamas like you and me can prioritize our faith, spend time in fellowship, and grow in life’s challenges together is such a blessing!
I believe women play a large role in establishing the culture of their homes. When we abide in the Lord, pursue Jesus, and protect our homes as a sacred place for the Holy Spirit to work, we glorify our heavenly father and train our children up in the way they should go. Send me an email if you have any questions or want to get connected as a mother at Harvest at The Summit!
