Harvest Youth Mission Statement
Our desire is to point every student to Jesus Christ, “the Word which was from the beginning,” so that they may know the Gospel himself, the Grace-man, the Grace of God revealed to the world. We are on mission to be ministers and stewards of the grace and the love God demonstrated to us (Romans 5:8).
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men.” – Titus 2:11
Ministry
We meet every Wednesday night from 6:30–8:00pm to engage our minds in God’s Word, nurture each soul in faith, and build lasting relationships through meaningful fellowship.
Our Youth Ministry, just like our adult ministry, is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ by inviting youth to know Him, encouraging them to follow Him, and equipping them to serve Christ and others.
We cultivate genuine, lasting relationships through purposeful and Christ-centered fellowship.
What to Expect
We kick off evening from 6:30-7pm in the Heritage room of The Summit with a
meal and conversation! After the youth have made their way in, grabbed a
plate, and temporarily satisfied the blackhole that is a teenager’s stomach, we
transition to prayer followed by a verse-by-verse exposition of a book of the
Bible. We are currently studying the book of Luke.
The teaching starts around 7pm and is an interactive experience where questions and comments are encouraged. As a steward of this upcoming generation, it is my responsibility and my passion to engage our youth on all four dimensions: Mind, Heart, Body, and Soul.
Jesus Christ, the King of kings, is our Lord and Savior and His name will be
lifted on high and the gospel will be shared each time we gather.
After reading, we have a time for Praise Reports and Prayer Requests. This
is then followed by a time of fun and games, fellowship, and the status quo
of goofiness that befits teenagers.
We like to have youth outings a couple time a year as a means of promoting
close knit friendships and fellowship with one another.
Britni and I cannot WAIT to meet you and get to know you!
